CAMP[9] will be held at the McCune Conference room (6020 Humanities and Social Sciences Building) at UCSB.

🚘 🚆 🛩️ Getting to UCSB

Confusingly, UCSB is in Goleta, not Santa Barbara!

Driving Times

-5-6 hours from/to south part of Bay Area.

-2-3 hours from/to LA

Amtrak

Amtrak is slow but VERY scenic! https://www.amtrak.com/home

-From San Diego and LA, use the Goleta Amtrak stop (GTA)

-From Bay Area / San Jose, use the Santa Barbara Amtrak stop (SBA)

Flights

-The SBA airport is basically on campus– and sometimes the flights are a reasonable price.

-There are flights to OAK, SFO, LAX, SMF, and SAN.

🚗 🚌 Local Transportation

Parking

Lot 29 is the closest visitor parking lot.

Lot 22 garage is also nearby and has electric car charging.

For both, you can pay at the blue kiosks or with the ParkMobile app.

Bus

The main campus bus stop is “North Hall Bus Loop”.

-Bus 11 goes between the airport - UCSB - Camino Real Marketplace

-Bus 24x goes between downtown SB- UCSB - Camino Real Marketplace

Fares are $2.50 by cash or card. You can get at 10 ride pass at the student bookstore for a discount (this can be shared among people).
